Billericay Town 1–1 VCD Athletic
From New Lodge
Ryman Premier League
BILLERICAY Town made it back-to-back draws as hot shot striker Mike Fondop salvaged a point against VCD Athletic.
Billericay earned a good point at Kingstonian on Saturday, with Mike Fondop netting his seventh goal in just five games since his move.
Town looked lively in the first half but were unable to find the breakthrough against a resilient Kent outfit.
And just six minutes into the second half the visitors went ahead. Donovan Simmons grabbed the goal and VCD looked as though they were going to hold onto that lead.
But Fondop is the league’s in-form striker and he made it six consecutive matches on the score sheet with nine minutes to go to level the scores.
Billericay Town: Giddens, Williams, Hazlewood, Dunne, Ellul, Akurang, Rinomhota (Cojocarel), Curley, Derry, Fondop, Hubble (Nesbitt)
