WESTCLIFF will be looking to build on their first win of the season when they head to bottom of the table Eton Manor tomorrow.

Westcliff saw off Chichester 18-10 last weekend to end a run of eight successive National Three London & SE defeats.

And their director of rugby Nick Sigwart now wants to make it two victories in quick succession.

“Last weekend was a much needed win but one that our performances have deserved for some time now,” said Sigwart.

“The lads are high in confidence and we will look to carry that into this weekend’s game against Eton Manor.”

Manor have been beaten in all nine of their outings this season.

And Westcliff know exactly what to expect them tomorrow.

“Unlike Chichester last week we know Eton Manor very well and know all too well what they are capable of at home,” said Sigwart.

“Although they are below us in the league their recent results have been very close and we are certainly not taking them for granted.

“We know we will have to perform at our best to beat them.”

Westcliff have Jeff Meredith back from concussion this weekend while Kostas Dellas is also available after recovering from a shoulder injury.

However, captain Buster Reynolds is still out and Jack Jones will face a late fitness test on a knee problem.
