GK – Danny Potter: I played with Danny at Cambridge United. He had the best kicking technique I have ever seen for a goalkeeper. A great keeper.

RB – Ryan Peters: The year I won the Conference South with Braintree I rarely saw anyone get past him and he was a good attacking defender. He used to cramp up a lot towards the end of games!

LB – Michael Green: My Eastleigh team-mate has everything in his locker to play higher. He has a good left foot and is as fit as a racing horse! He needs to trim his eyebrows though!

CB – Tommy Smith: I was with him at the age of 14 when we came through the Ipswich Town academy. A big strong centre-half who could also play football.

CB – Paul Reid: I am currently playing with him at Eastleigh. A tough centre-half who played a few weeks this season with a hairline fracture and he played on! A crazy northerner.

CM – Edward Upson: He was my roomy at Ipswich. He makes the game look easy and has an eye for goal as well. He could turn anyone inside out when he was in possession!

CM – Yemi Odubade: I have got to put my current flat mate in! He has so much pace but also has a final ball. His cleaning skills aren't the best though!

CM – Ivan Campo: I played with him in his final few years at Ipswich but the man was a genius with the ball. A Champions League winner with Real Madrid!

ST – Ben Wright: Another ex-Eastleigh team-mate and a player that can win you any game. His technique for a big guy was very good and he’s a great bloke to have in dressing room but his dress sense is really bad!

ST – Jordan Rhodes: He does all his work inside the box! I was with him at Ipswich and I have never seen such a natural goal scorer. If you give him the ball anywhere in the box nine times out of 10 it will be a goal.

STDamian Scannell: His feet are the quickest I’ve seen. He was at Eastleigh and was such a flair player. He is a great player to have on your team in a five-a-side game.
