SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown is unsure whether or not David Worrall will be staying with the Shrimpers.
The winger, who is out of contract at the end of the season, missed Saturday’s 1-0 defeat against Bradford City with what Brown described as a mystery illness.
And the Shrimpers chief does not whether or not Worrall will be available to face his former side Bury on the final day of the League One season this weekend.
“Dave has been getting checked over by the medical staff and still has three or four days to recover for the game,” said Brown.
“We will make a decision later on in the week to do with the Bury game but with regards to his contract there is nothing more to report.
“We’ve offered him a contract but he’s playing a tough game and there’s not much else to say right now.”
Worrall joined Blues in the summer of 2014 and has made 83 appearances for the club.
