SEEVIC’S Rugby Academy are gunning for glory in the Premier Play-Off Final this afternoon.

The Thundersley college face Welsh side Coleg Y Cymoedd in the showdown.

And their director of rugby Danny Cleare is delighted to have reached the latter stages of the competition.

“All the boys are dedicated and have been working hard throughout the season to get here,” said Cleare.

“Our complete team performance is incredible and is developing in every game.

“I am excited to see how they play in the finals and I am confident that every single one of them will put their all into winning.”

Seevic, who reached the NatWest Schools final at Twickenham last season, saw off Exeter 40-10 in the semi-finals last month.

Their confidence is also sky high after finishing as runners up in the National Sevens.

And highly-rated winger Norbertas Radzevicius is keen to secure more success.

“After winning the silver in the sevens tournament and beating Exeter, last year’s winners, it has given us a big boost in confidence and has motivated us even more to go and win the finals,” said Radzevicius.

“We have had a really close season, but now we have made it and it is an amazing feeling.

“We are really playing as a team now and that is the main thing.

“We have been working together and we have got a lot closer to make sure our game is as tight as possible.”

Seevic saw off both Hartpury and Oaklands College to reach today’s final.

>The Rugby Academy at Seevic is completed alongside A-Level or Vocational courses.
