Kiera Bainsfair with her medal
BASILDON Athletics Club talent Kiera Bainsfair continued her impressive form with victory in the Under-15 pentathlon last weekend.
Kiera’s total score was just 10 points off her personal best, although she manage to secure two PB’s on the day.
They were two impressive jumps, one in the long jump (5.20m) and also in the high jump (1.62m).
And she completed her excellent weekend with victory in the 800m, her final event. Kiera was in third but a strong run leading from the start saw her finish in first, adding to the southern indoor pentathlon title she won back in December.
