BOWERS & Pitsea will go again in the FA Cup tonight after an exciting 2-2 draw with Waltham Abbey on Saturday.

Rob Small’s team showed their mettle to fight back from a losing position against their Ryman North counterparts and will attempt to reach the first qualifying round this evening at the Len Salmon Stadium.

And Small backed his men to prove they had even more to give when the match gets underway.

“I am really pleased with how our boys adapted during the game and the commitment they showed to try and get a positive result,” said Small. “We have a lot to improve on but it’s very early in the season.

“I’m hoping we can do a lot better than we are showing presently but I am confident we have the right people here.

“We will have a depleted team tonight as we rolled the dice with injuries on Saturday and lost. We will go into the game as a big underdog but on the night anything can happen.”

The match at the Len Salmon Stadium kicks-off tonight at 7:45pm.
