l RUNDOWN: Canvey Island will be hoping to bounce back from their FA Cup disappointment when Kingstonian make the trip to Essex tomorrow.

The Gulls lost 3-2 in Tuesday night’s replay at Potters Bar Town and face something of an injury crisis ahead of this game.

An emergency goalkeeper, has been drafted in after Conor Gough suffered a freak injury to his finger at work, with Dagenham & Redbridge lending stopper Lewis Moore to the club on a dual-registration basis.

Kingstonian have had a below-par start to the season and find themselves in 18th position ahead of the clash, a point worse off than Canvey having played a game more. They are winless in their last four league and cup matches.

l MANAGER’S VIEW: Gulls assistant manager Joe Keith said: “We have got a goalkeeper in on loan after Conor (Gough) injured his finger.

“It feels a bit flat at the minute and things have tailed off in recent weeks so we need to get back to how we were playing in the early weeks.

"Kingstonian are having a bad time but they are still full of quality so they have got a performance in them. We have to be ready for it.

l TEAM NEWS: Defender Luis Morrison has left to join Greenwich Borough, Sheldon Sellears is in the squad, Jack Lampe rejoins from Concord.
