EAST Thurrock could be missing three of their regular back four for tomorrow’s clash at Wealdstone.

Ryan Sammons broke his collarbone in Tuesday night’s 2-0 victory against Margate in the FA Trophy while Joe Ellul and Lee Burns are also rated doubtful.

And Rocks boss John Coventry is bracing himself for a tricky afternoon.

“I’m expecting a very difficult game with Wealdstone, whoever is fit to play,” said Coventry.

“Ryan is going to be out for a while now which is obviously a blow and we do have other defenders struggling to be fit for the game tomorrow as well.

“Wealdstone had been going through a little bit of a dodgy patch, going four games without a win, but they had a great win against Maidenhead in the FA Trophy in the week so they are going to be back on a high so we’re in for a real test.”

However, East Thurrock will also be heading into tomorrow’s National South clash full of confidence.

Rocks have now gone 10 league games without defeat and have not been beaten in the league since losing 2-1 to Margate in early September.

The long unbeaten run has taken East Thurrock up to eighth in the table.

And they will be looking to keep it going by seeing off Wealdstone who are currently 12th in the league standings.

Wealdstone have also won just two of their nine home games so far this season and have former Southend United striker Elliot Benyon as their main dangerman in attack.

Benyon has hit the back of the net 16 times already this term.
