FIT-AGAIN Ben Coker is pushing for a recall against Bolton Wanderers tomorrow.

The left-back came off the bench for the final 14 minutes of Saturday’s 2-1 win against Rochdale.

But Blues boss Phil Brown is now considering putting the 27-year-old - who had been out since November with an ankle injury - back in the starting line-up.

“Ben is really pushing for a place now,” said Brown.

“He had been cutting a frustrated figure when he was in the treatment room because he’s a bundle of energy.

“But he was involved again against Rochdale and we immediately saw his quality with the ball he played in the build up to Simon Cox’s late goal.

“Michael (Timlin) has done well in Ben’s place and would be disappointed to get left out so there’s a lot to be thinking about.

“With Jermaine McGlashan out suspended there’s another place available and it might be a case of shoehorning people into a different system.

“But we also have Zavon Hines available for a straight swap so we do have a few different things to be thinking about when it comes to picking the team.”
