SOUTHEND Manor were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by champions elect Barking on Saturday.

Manor were looking to continue their fight to assure a top four position but were no match for Barking.

Billy Rix, Petrit Elbi and Joe Staunton got the goals for the leaders, who are now a victory away from securing the league title.

Basildon United were edged out 2-1 on home turf by Waltham Forest.

Josh Banton had put the visitors ahead with a well taken first goal.

And Nicki Dembele doubled the advantage in the second period.

Jamie Brown halved arrears but that was to be as good as it got for Basildon.

Hullbridge Sports conceded a late goal to draw 1-1 with London Bari.

Sports went ahead with 15 minutes to play, with Ryan Wallington - only on the pitch for three minutes - scoring.

But Hassan Nalbant levelled with an 86th minute free-kick.
