DAN Burzotta is expecting ‘fireworks’ at the biggest ever UWC fight night this weekend.

Sixteen fights will be taking place on the tasty-looking bill at Clements Hall this Saturday.

And Burzotta cannot wait for the action to get underway.

“It’s looking really good and it’s probably the biggest UWC fight night we’ve ever done,” said Burzotta.

“We’ve got 16 fights and 15 guys from TSG are fighting.

“Everyone is looking really sharp and touch wood there are no injuries in the camp so we’re really looking forward to the weekend.

“Ticket sales have been going well and I’m sure it’s going to be another great night.”

A team of Norwegian fighters are also coming over to take place in Saturday’s showdowns.

And Burzotta is excited by a number of the contests.

“Darren Towler hasn’t fought for a couple of years and he’s fighting a huge man mountain who is 6 ft 6 ins tall and weighs 25 stone so that will be the fight of the night in my opinion,” said Burzotta.

“Dean Stevens is also fighting a guy from Norway which will be great and Wayne Regan is a local guy from Basildon who has a big following so there’s plenty to look forward to and I’m expecting fireworks on the night.”

Towler has been travelling down from Newcastle to prepare for his latest fight and feels training with TSG has got him in the best shape possible.

“This is where I come for my fight camps,” said Towler.

“It’s a five or six hour drive but it gets me away from any distractions and it’s a second home for me now.”

“It’s different class here and it’s progressed my career.

“I train here Monday until Friday before going back home.

“But I’m definitely ready for this fight.”
