SOUTHEND United midfielder Ryan Leonard insists he does not need resting.
Shrimpers boss Phil Brown has revealed he is contemplating giving the 24-year-old a break.
But Leonard - who has started every league game for Blues this season - does not want to miss out on any matches.
“I’m ready to go and ready to play, I don’t want resting,” said Leonard.
“I might have played a lot of games but it’s getting to the most interesting stage of the season and I don’t want to be sitting there watching.
“I want to be out there with the lads and playing a part in us trying to make sure we end the season in the play-offs.”
Leonard has started 43 of the Shrimpers’ 44 matches during the current campaign.
