BILLERICAY Town have completed the signing of Hemel Hempstead Town striker Jake Robinson for a club record fee.
Robinson has agreed to join Glenn Tamplin’s side for a fee of £24,000.
Town are pushing to make the Ryman Premier League play-off places with seven games to go and have moved to strengthen their side.
Robinson, 30, has scored 23 goals for Hemel Hempstead Town in the National League South this season.
But with Billy Bricknell and Adam Cunnington forming a formidable partnership in recent weeks, Robinson will be looking to force his way into Tamplin’s side.
Robinson’s arrival comes on the same day as Billericay confirmed the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara.
Robinson and O’Hara could make their debuts when Billericay travel to fellow play-off chasers Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday.
