l RUNDOWN: Billericay Town will be looking to book a top seven finish when they travel to Needham Market tomorrow.

It is not the prize manager Glenn Tamplin wanted, after Town missed out on a play-off spot, but he is still demanding the best from his squad against a Suffolk side who are in with an outside chance of booking a play-off place.

Needham need all three points and for Wingate & Finchley to lose against Dulwich Hamlet in a bid to overcome the eight-goal swing that looks as though it could prove decisive.

Town beat Canvey Island 3-1 on Monday and will be looking to inflict a similar defeat on Needham Market as they did earlier in the season - a thumping 6-0 win.

l MANAGER’S VIEW: Town joint boss Harry Wheeler said: “We want to win any game. It won’t be different tomorrow despite us having nothing to play for. These guys need to prove they deserve to be here next season.

“The lads need to show what they can do, and know Glenn and I will be watching closely.

“I don’t know much about Needham Market but it is more about us. They need to do what they need to do but we will be going all out for the win.

“Finishing on a positive result is very important. We want to win the match for us and the travelling support.”

l TEAM NEWS: Captain Rob Swaine and goalkeeper Alan Julian are out. Olly Sprague returns.
