Injured - Southend United defender Michael Turner
SOUTHEND United centre-back Michael Turner will today see a specialist about his hamstring injury.
The experienced defender has missed Blues' last three pre-season friendlies with the problem.
And Shrimpers boss Phil Brown is waiting for further news.
“Michael is still feeling the hamstring,” said Brown.
“He will be going to see a specialist in London today and we will know more then.
"But he's definitely a doubt for the start of the season unfortunately."
