THE MATCH: Concord Rangers return to league action against a side they have enjoyed some success against recently.

Beach Boys manager Adam Flanagan told the Echo earlier in the week he hoped last Saturday’s FA Cup win would inspire a turnaround in form.

That will be evident tomorrow, with a difficult-looking trip to Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Having been granted a play-off berth last year (because of the ineligibility of Poole Town and Hungerford Town), Hampton are a tough nut to crack. Although Concord have only lost one of the last four meetings, winning both in Essex.

THE INSIGHT: “We gave a good account of ourselves at Hampton on the last day last season,” said Flanagan. “I feel we will go there with a stronger squad this time around. We had a good result in the cup and this win should give us more confidence in both areas of the pitch going into this game.

“I felt last year our games with them were very close and I think tomorrow will be the same again. Hampton have good support at home so it will be a great game for the players to be involved in.

“It is very important that we stop losing and start picking points up in the league as nobody wants a season like last year.

“We have a big month ahead of us and my hope is that once we come out the back of it we will have stabilised ourselves in a position in the league that best resembles our performances and the calibre of players we have in our team.”

THE TEAM NEWS: Tom Stephen is looking for his first league appearance since returning from a loan spell at Bowers & Pitsea following injury.
