RYAN Leonard wants to reach another landmark for Southend United in fine style tomorrow.

The energetic midfielder will make his 250th appearance for the Shrimpers when they travel to Doncaster Rovers tomorrow.

And Leonard - who will become the youngest Blues player to reach the milestone since Glenn Pennyfather in 1987 - is keen make the game one to remember.

“It doesn’t seem that long ago it was my 200th game and I remember scoring that night against Oxford and us winning, so that would be perfect again tomorrow,” said Leonard, 25.

“It’s definitely a nice landmark to get to and I’m very proud and pleased to be doing it.

“But winning the game is what matters the most and that’s what I’ll be thinking about most because we want to make it five victories in a row.”
