THE MATCH: Concord Rangers will be looking to build on their two impressive performances against Woking when Weston-super-Mare visit the Aspect Arena tomorrow.

The Beach Boys pushed the National League side all the way in their FA Cup fourth qualifying round ties, before succumbing to a 118th minute winner in the replay.

Adam Flanagan’s side were unlucky to miss out on a home tie against League One side Bury in the first round of the competition, having dominated large spells of the initial tie and the replay.

But the Beach Boys will now put their FA Cup exit behind them and concentrate on climbing away from the National League South danger zone.

Concord currently find themselves second from bottom in the standings, with only Whitehawk having garnered less points.

But Flanagan will be looking to pick up a vital three points against one of the Beach Boys’ nearest rivals this weekend.

Weston-super-Mare are currently 17th in the table, and have just five points more than their hosts.

A win could see Concord climb out of the bottom three.

THE INSIGHT: “We have played more than 210 minutes of football in a short period of time, having played Woking twice in four days,” said Flanagan.

“As a result, I am sure a lot of the players are feeling fatigued prior to tomorrow.

“Nevertheless, we will prepare right and go into the game as competitive as ever.”

THE TEAM NEWS: Concord have no injury concerns.
