THE draw has taken place to decide who will wear what fancy dress costumes at the Christmas party.

We had originally hoped to all go as the same thing but when we looked into it it was becoming impossible to get so many of the same costume.

Instead we went for five groups of five with Minions, Power Rangers, Santa Claus, Smurfs and NFL players the chosen outfits.

I drew out NFL so I’m already looking for shoulder pads but I think we’re all looking forward to seeing Nile Ranger dressed as a smurf!

He’s a little bit upset because he thinks he’s a Power Ranger so he wanted that to be his costume and he’s been trying to swap!

But there’s a financial punishment in place for that so it definitely won’t be happening.

On the pitch I think I produced the worst substitute appearance in the history of football when I came on against Colchester.

I told the manager it was probably the worst substitution he’s ever made but when you’ve won the game and things have gone badly like that I think you have to laugh it off because otherwise you get down about it.

After missing my last penalty against Rochdale I stepped forward for another one as I was keen to put it right but it came back off the post and I can’t imagine the lads will let me take another one now.

I’ll always put myself forward to take one but I think one or two of the lads will be putting themselves forward now.

The good thing was we got through to the next stage of the Checkatrade Trophy but it was very disappointing we couldn’t do that in the FA Cup.

In the first half at Yeovil I think we were surprised by what came our way but we did enough in the second to avoid defeat.

Never in a million years was the disallowed goal a foul but it was linesman who gave it not the referee.

I asked him at the end of the game why he didn’t allow it and he wasn’t really able to give me an explanation.
