SOUTHEND United will be bidding to extend their unbelievable November record when they head to Portsmouth tomorrow.
The Shrimpers have gone 27 games and eight years since last losing a league game in the 11th month of the year.
And Phil Brown - who has never been beaten as Blues boss in the league in November - is keen to keep it going.
“I’m not sure what it is about November but it would great to continue that because we have three massive games coming up in the next eight days,” said Brown.
“All of the teams we’re playing are in and around us and we need to take points off them to stay in contention so it’s a very important time before we head into December.
“But we’re only thinking about Portsmouth at the moment and it will be a difficult game there.”
