THE MATCH: Concord Rangers are looking to pile on the misery for Gloucester City tomorrow.

Three defeats in the last five does not read so well for Concord, but they remain one of the division’s hardest teams to beat.

Just two defeats in 17 games - both away from home - means they head to Gloucester in good mood.

Gloucester are just two points above the relegation places but have games in hand on sides below them. A win tomorrow will lift them a point behind Concord with a game in hand. And while Concord’s strength has been their home form, it is Gloucester’s away form that has seen them climb out of the relegation places.

In fact, Gloucester’s only home win since the end of August has come against rock bottom Whitehawk.

THE INSIGHT: “Gloucester were one of the better teams we faced this season at home so I wasn’t surprised that they beat a strong Welling side at the weekend,” said Beach Boys boss Adam Flanagan. “We want to win the game, as will Gloucester, so it will be a competitive game between two teams who want to climb the table.

“We will need to travel and improve areas we were weak in against Weston and I equally feel the players will want to correct last week’s performance and they know that will be required if we want to get anything from this important fixture.

“Our away form is an area we significantly need to improve. We know this and it’s something we aim to rectify in our remaining away fixtures.”

THE TEAM NEWS: Lewis Taaffe is nearing a return.
