SOUTHEND United striker Theo Robinson hopes to work his way back into first team contention after netting four goals in 44 minutes for the Shrimpers’ under-23 team against MK Dons yesterday.
Robinson - who has played just seven minutes of League football in 2018 - played a prominent part in the 5-0 win at Roots Hall.
And he now hopes to be handed an opportunity to impress new Blues boss Chris Powell.
“The plan is to try and push into the first team,” said Robinson.
“Things didn’t really work out for me to go out on loan in January, but I’m here for another two years so I’ll get my head down and go on from there.
“It was good to get some minutes and show what I can do, but all the lads played really well.”
