SOUTHEND Saxons head to Sutton & Epsom this afternoon missing a number of players.
Second from bottom Southend are 18 points from safety in the London & SE Premier Divvwith just 25 points left to play for.
But head coach Josh Ward is demanding a spirited display.
“We have to keep on fighting for every point until the end of the season,” said Ward.
“We want to make sure we perform for the full 80 minutes too.”
Tom Reeman, Ryan Campbell-Webster, Fred Short, Jack MacDonald and Adam Dobson are all set to start for Southend as they look to end a run of five successive defeats against their eighth-placed hosts.
