JESSCIA Judd had to be helped from the track after finishing 14th in the 1500m final at the Commonwealth Games yesterday.
Judd, who is from Canvey Island, had to receive medical attention on the track at the end of the race.
And the Rochford born 23-year-old was keen to thanks those who had helped her to recover from ‘passing out’.
Writing on Instagram last night Judd said: “Gave everything and unfortunately 4.08 is where I’m at right now.
“Although I’m very disappointed to not feature higher up if you had told me a couple of weeks ago I’d make the final and run 4.08 back to back I’d have taken it with a big smile.
“Huge thanks to everyone in my team for getting me here, especially my dad, and I’m so excited for the journey to come and getting back to my normal season racing calendar.
“Also kind of hoping I can remember the full race next time rather than 110m of it.
“Thanks to Sarah McDonald and the random medical guys for helping me after I passed out.”
Judd crossed the line at the back of the field in 4:08.82 in a race won in dominant fashion by double Olympic champion Caster Semenya.
The former Castle View School pupil will now be hoping to recover strongly as she will look to qualify for this summer’s European Championships.
