BEN Coker and Michael Turner are expected to miss the rest of Southend United’s season due to injuries.

Turner suffered a thigh problem during Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Oxford United while Coker also had to come off with what proved to be a hamstring injury. And the duo are unlikely to feature in any of Blues’ remaining four matches.

The news will come as as blow for Shrimpers boss Chris Powell and also both defenders who missed the start of the season with injuries.

Turner was out until November with a thigh problem while Coker was out until December with a broken leg.
