BILLERICAY skipper Lee Knight believes his side will be facing one of their toughest tests of the season when they head to Wanstead & Snaresbrook tomorrow.
Billericay kicked off their Premier Division campaign with a rain affected draw against Ilford last weekend.
But Knight is now expecting another tricky afternoon.
“Wanstead are a very strong side and were national club champions last year,” said Knight.
“They are always right up there in the league as well so this will be one of the hardest games we face but we look forward to it.
“It will be good to see where we are and we’ll be doing all we can to be competitive.”
However, Billericay head into the game without the services of Paul Walter who is currently sidelined with a back injury.
“Paul isn’t fit at the moment but even if he was he would probably be playing for Essex,” said Knight.
“We will have to go without him but we’ll be giving it our best shot.”
Hadleigh & Thundersley will also be on their travels this weekend as they head to Harrow Lodge Park to face Hornchurch.
