HADLEIGH & Thundersley could be facing former England spinner Monty Panesar when they head to Hornchurch tomorrow.
Hadleigh started the Premier Division season with a defeat against Chingford last weekend.
But, as they bid to bounce back, they may have to overcome Panesar who lined up for Hornchurch last weekend.
Hadleigh have named an unchanged starting line-up for the clash.
And Hadleigh press officer David Williams feels that could work in team’s favour.
“We’re unchanged from last weekend which I think should stand us in good stead as we are still finding our feet a little bit this higher level,” said Williams.
“We need to adapt quickly but last week showed we can compete at this level.”
However, Williams believes Hornchurch will be tough to beat.”
“It’s another big test this week against a Hornchurch side who will I’m sure be fighting for honours come the end of the season,” said Williams.
“All the boys are up for the challenge and we’ll look to show a good account of ourselves again on Saturday, hopefully with a better result than last week.”
