SOUTHEND United are keen to sign Plymouth Argyle centre-back Sonny Bradley.
The 26-year-old defender - who made 44 appearances for the Pilgrims last season - is currently out of contract at Home Park.
And Blues are among a host of clubs interested in securing his signature.
Barnsley, Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic, Luton Town, Hearts and Rangers have all been linked with the centre-back.
But the Shrimpers will be doing all they can to sign him.
Blues have centre-back John White signed up for next season while Rob Kiernan is attempting to work his way back to full fitness.
Anton Ferdinand is also contracted to the club for another year while Michael Turner remains in talks over a new deal.
