HADLEIGH & Thundersley suffered a four wicket defeat against Chelmsford.
Hadleigh made 180 in their innings, with Brandon Jacobs scoring 103.
But Chelmsford made it home for the loss of six wickets to leave skipper Richard Revell (pictured left) frustrated.
“Brandon batted really well and got himself another ton,” said Revell.
“Unfortunately we didn’t bat well enough around him and we didn’t get enough runs while failing to bat out our allotted overs.
“We started well with the ball but we knew we were in for a difficult task to win the game with the target set. Despite taking some much-needed early wickets, the Chelmsford middle order batted patiently and saw them over the line.”
