Favourite - Southend United defender Ben Coker
SOUTHEND United fans feel Ben Coker should captain the team during the forthcoming League One campaign.
Echosport revealed earlier this week how Shrimpers boss Chris Powell had yet to select his skipper for the campaign ahead.
But our online poll saw Coker as the supporters' favourite for the role.
Coker - who wore the armband towards the end of last season - picked up 42 per cent of the votes.
John White finished second with 34 per cent.
Close to 1,100 supporters voted.
