Mason Law secured points returns in both races at Knockhill in the latest round of the British Superbike Championship.
The Benfleet rider enjoyed a positive trip to Scotland at the weekend, where the rookie scored championship points in both races aboard the GR Motosport prepared Team WD-40 Kawasaki.
Having made it through to the second qualifying cut [Q2] on Saturday, he put it to good use with 15th and 14th placed finishes on Sunday in front of a large watching crowd.
And Law said it was a good return aboard the bike.
“It was another good weekend on my WD-40 Superbike at Knockhill,” he said.
“We, once again, made it through to Q2 and gained two points scoring finishes.
“Every time I throw my leg over the bike I’m learning something new, whether that’s about myself, or about the bike and set-up,” he added.
“I’m happy with the foundations we have built now and I know it won’t be long until we can bear the fruits of all the hard work that’s being bundled in to this project.
“Thanks again to my team and my crew, who were faultless all weekend. A big mention to my personal partners and of course all of the great motorcycling fans that flocked to the circuit to support us all. I’m extremely grateful.”
Law’s next outing will be at Brands Hatch. And the circuit is one that Law is very excited about racing around.
“It’s Brands Hatch next, and the GP circuit too,” said the talent. “I’m really looking forward to that.”
