HARRY Lennon is relishing his Roots Hall debut with Southend United on Sunday.
The summer signing will face Championship club Leeds United this weekend.
And Lennon is looking forward to the clash.
“I’ve enjoyed playing at Roots Hall in the past and I’m excited to be doing it more often with Southend now,” said the defender, who joined Blues from Charlton Athletic.
“There always seems to be a good atmosphere at the ground because it’s one of those stadiums where the fans seem to be right on top of you.
“I’m sure that will help us throughout the season but for now we’re focusing on fitness.”
But Lennon still wants a strong showing against Leeds.
“I think it could be a physical game but we want to put in a good performance,” he added.
