Just walked through the door after a long couple of days but it makes it all worth it after a great hard earned point. Thank you to all those who travelled down to watch. Your support is appreciated.

Can’t understand why Powell wasn’t more proactive to try and win the game. The 85th minute to bring on Theo? The game was there for the taking.
@danbasildonblue
Great to pick up our first point, by far the better team on the field once again which is promising going forward. Substitutions came too late in the game for me and we must start converting our chances.
@alfietrobinson
Good result against Plymouth but we need to take more of our chances. Hopefully get the first League win against Bradford next Saturday.
@ryan_fleming99
Very impressed by the way we controlled the game. We kept the ball very well and we look a good footballing side. If one or more of our forwards can have a good season in front of goal we will be in with a shout of a play-off place.
@will_wilcox
Lots of chances from open play but no goals. I don’t understand why Theo’s not starting.
@cjblues2505
If our finishing and final ball could match our general play we’d be top of the League. I feel we’re getting there under Powell and results will improve very soon.
@tommyharris57
Good performance and theirs was never a penalty. Having said that we are very wasteful in front of goal and the pretty build-up counts for nothing if we don’t hit the back of the net. Have faith it will come.
@ianjholmes
Another game where we should have got three points. Just need to take our chances.
@platstratreddit
Good strong performance. Have had so many chances in two games but need to start taking them. Poor ref again.
@clarkyshrimper
Good away point. A bit more clinical and we would have got all three. Also seems we now have a midfield capable to compete at this level.
@phillsilver9
Really good to see Southend keep their heads up when we go behind in games. Chris Powell should not have been sent to the stands. The ref should have spoken to them first.
