SOUTHEND United manager Chris Powell has admitted to being impressed by the impact made by Isaac Hutchinson.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder scored 52 seconds into his first team debut with the Shrimpers before netting a hat-trick for the under 23s against Barnet on Tuesday.
And Powell has now invited Hutchinson to train with the first team squad.
“Issac Hutchinson has made a real impression,” said Powell.
“He scored for the first team against Cambridge and then got a hat-trick in the under-23s.
"He’s training with us now.
"He has a lot to learn but he has a lot to like too and he’s a talented boy.”
