It is hard to see how life can get much tougher for East Thurrock United and boss John Coventry.
Last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Heybridge Swifts was compounded when they were docked a point for fielding an unregistered player, Michael Hart, in a 0-0 draw with Harrow Borough in December.
Now tomorrow they take on the might of runaway Ryman Premier leaders Chelmsford City at Rookery Hill.
Former Canvey boss Jeff King's Clarets have opened up a 12-point lead at the top and things don't get any easier for Rocks in midweek when they go to eight-placed play-off chasing AFC Hornchurch.
