Premier Division Goals by Thompson and Lee gave Runwell Old Boys a 2-1 win at Britannia which keeps them in the running for the title, Sack netted for the home side. Witham CML secured a 2-1 victory at Benfleet, whose lone goal came from Flanaghan, thanks to strikes by Windibank and Haythorn but it may be too little too late for Witham CML to avoid the drop. Old Parmiterians may have ended Writtles' hopes of the title with a 3-1 win, goals coming from Luck,Archibald and Bloomberg.

Division One An own goal added to those by Watson and Stanford could not prevent Ludlows going down to potential champions Sporting Club Henderson by 4-3. Chasing for top spot are Maidonians who rattled in five without reply at Sporting Club Woodham, Nixon(2), Harvey Redfern and Newton doing the damage. Also up there are Frenford Senior after they accounted for Springfield 3-0 , Hunt netting twice, Keating getting the other goal.

Division Two East With home advantage and a chance of securing runners-up spot Old Chelmsfordians blew it by going down 2-0 to Wickford Town. Goals by Galleywood strikers Hanson and Fuller earned them a 2-0 win over Ford Baildon Reserves and, if they can repeat that in the next two games, a way out of relegation.

Division Two West Goals by Wright, Lynch and Riley gave Great Berry Rangers a 3-0 win at Old Parmiterian Reserves and kept them on course for the title. A 2-2 draw with Sungate thanks to goals by Stuart and Houston gives West Essex Reserves a slim chance of avoiding the drop. Glassmasters were leading 4-3 at home to William Fitt following a couple of volleys by Moran and other goals by Pitman and Parnell but the visitors squeezed in their fourth with a few minutes to go to earn a point at 4-4. Herrero, Quigley, Murray and Stroud scoring for William Fitt.

Division Three East Leigh Ramblers still head the table but with games in hand Vichouse Sports are favourites especially after a 12-2 drubbing of Hawkwell Athletic. Costlan hit five, Kirby, Russell and Judd two each, Ricks added the last. Blyth and Glisson netted for Hakwell Athletic. High scoring day in this Division as Shenfield bagged seven through Henderson(2), Hearn(2), Gordham(2) and Thurston as they beat FOBS 7-2, Callow(2) for FOBS. Hockley and Hawkwell also nabbed seven in their last match. West Billericay were on the end as Hawkes(3), Ward, Skinner and an own goal made up the 7-1 scoreline.

Division Three West After a win over basement dwellers Horndon, two goals each by Lamp and Fields giving Newbury Park the 4-2 result, they need only three more points to be crowned champions. Wald and King for Doddinghurst Olympic, Howe and Walsh for Old Parmiterians A were the scorers in the 2-2 draw. Storkey and Odisina netted for Springfield Reserves as they went down 4-2 at home to Sporting Club Henderson Reserves.
