JEAN-FRANCOIS Christophe goes straight back into the Shrimpers squad for tomorrow’s trip to Chelsea.
The French midfielder has not figured since the end of November.
But, having now recovered from a hamstring strain and completed a permanent move from Portsmouth, the 21-year-old is back in contention with Blues.
“Jeff (Christophe) has trained all week and he comes back into the squad,” confirmed manager Steve Tilson.
“I’m not sure whether or not he will start just yet and I still have one or two other positions to sort out.”
Striker Francis Laurent is also available again after recovering from flu.
