Basildon AC saw a medal rush at the Eastern Champs at Cambridge, particularly for coach Vespa Ellis's group.
Under-15 Ryan O'Sullivan became the champion over 100 metres (11.44 seconds) with his 11.43 in the heat being a PB and championship record.
Not to be outdone Billy Collins Nuttall finished sixth (12.34), also after running a PB in the heat (12.23).
Another flying under-15 was Jess Quick who won the 100 (with a wind-assisted 12.63 PB before going on to silver in the 200 with another best ever run of 26.35 (also wind-assisted).. Consistent hurdler Georgia Green-Muid finished fourth in the 75 hurdles with an equal personal best (12.22).
Kaylee Dodd was another athlete just outside the medals with fourth in the 800 (2mins.24.50secs).
Under-17 Joe Peploe picked up silver in the 100 hurdles (14.20).
Grant Webb finished fourth in the under-20 3,000 (9.18.05).
Under-20 sprinter Kirsty Shepherd picked up two golds and two championship records in the 200 (25.85) and 400 (60.81).
Sade Bailey collected two silvers in the 400 (63.06) and high jump (1.45 metres) despite suffering from a foot injury.
In the seniors, Nicola Goode ran a solid 800 for silver and a PB (2.20.33).
Heptathlete Heidi Nicholas returned from a back injury to complete a normal busy day with golds in the 100 (12.88), 200 (26.64), 100 hurdles (16.20) and bronze in both the long jump (5.36) and high jump (1.55).
