STEVE Tilson has made one change to his starting line-up for this afternoon's game with Wycombe Wanderers - handing new boy Matt Paterson his full debut.

He has replaced the departed Lee Barnard in attack but the rest of the team remains unchanged.

Goalkeeper Ian Joyce is not on the bench though because of an illness.

Former Southend players Lewis Hunt, Matt Harrold and Kevin Betsy all start for Wycombe.

Southend United: Mildenhall, Sankofa, Francis, Barrett, Malone, Scannell, McCormack, Grant, Moussa, Laurent, Paterson.

Subs: Christophe, Walker, Freedman, Herd, O'Keefe, Spencer and Bentley.
