BILLERICAY Town slipped further into Ryman Premier relegation trouble tonight with a 1-0 defeat in their Essex derby at Aveley - their second setback in three days.

Town were defeated 2-1 by Harrow Borough on Saturday and were hoping to get a win in their derby match at Mill Field to reignite their bid to move up the table.

But a second win in the same period sees the Millers climbing well clear of the drop zone.

Tonight's success came courtesy of a 15th-minute goal from top scorer Martin Touhy.
