ALAN McCormack and Johnny Herd have both been named in Southend United's starting line-up for this afternoon's clash with Carlisle United at Roots Hall.
Herd replaces Scott Malone at left-back while McCormack returns from suspension to take Francis Laurent's place.
McCormack partners Anthony Grant in central midfield with Franck Moussa wide on the left and Damian Scannell wide right.
Southend United: Mildenhall, Francis, Baldwin, Barrett, Herd, Scannell, McCormack, Grant, Moussa, Vernon, Paterson
Subs:: Malone, Sankofa, M'Voto, O'Keefe, Spencer, Crawford and Bentley.
