Rochford Hundred will want to build on last weekend’s shock success over Colchester when they head to Hammersmith and Fulham in London One North tomorrow.
Rochford’s unexpected 17-16 win over their Essex rivals kept them 11th in the table.
And they are keen to follow that up with another triumph against a Hammersmith side two places below them in the standings.
“This is another big game for us and we need to keep up the momentum and keep ourselves above the danger zone,” said Rochford’s first team manager Graham Pratt.
“There seems to be a new found belief running through the team and will need that tomorrow.”
Rochford will need to make a few changes to their starting line-up with Jake Knowles replacing the unavailable Andy Baker in the back row.
Dan Bracknell is also out while ex Southend player Steve Jay will step in at scrum half with Dean Needham moving to full-back to replace Robert Prior who is not available .
Michael Stemp comes in at inside centre and Gavin Dyer is front row replacement.
London One North leaders Thurrock also face a huge game this weekend as they travel to second placed Colchester while, in London Two North East, third placed Basildon head to 11th placed Saffron Walden.
Tenth placed Canvey Island host Lowestoft, who sit fourth and, in London Three North East, South Woodham Ferrers, who are seventh, will be hoping to be at the races when they entertain struggling Newmarket.
In Essex One, Billericay are at Millwall and Pegasus Palmerians travel to Maldon while in Essex Two Stanford le Hope are at home to May and Baker.
