Luke Daniels unlikely to return to Southend United

LUKE Daniels is unlikely to be heading back to Southend United.

As was revealed in yesterday’s Echosport, Blues had been exploring the possibility of bringing the goalkeeper back to Roots Hall on loan.

However, because Daniels spent two months on loan with Southend during his previous spell with the club he could only return for a maximum of one match this time around.

And, as a result, it seems Blues will not follow through with their interest.
