JACK Sampson is keen to extend his loan spell with Southend United.
The 18-year-old’s initial month long spell at Roots Hall expires after tomorrow night’s clash with Rotherham United.
But the striker would love to stay and play more matches for Blues.
“If the gaffer is happy for me to extend my loan spell here then so would I,” said Sampson, who is with Southend from Premier League side Bolton Wanderers.
“I’ve enjoyed it here, I’ve settled in well and it’s been a good experience for me to get first team matches.
“I’d welcome the chance to carry that on and help Southend do well in more games.”
