Robbins plays at Lord’s

Hadleigh & Thundersley all-rounder Dan Robbins will step out at the home of cricket today.

The 23-year-old is a Sub Lt for the Royal Navy and will turn out for them in the Inter Services T20 cricket competition at Lord’s.

It is a triangular tournament which also includes the British Army and the Royal Air Force and this is the third year it will be hosted by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at their famous ground.

Dan is the older brother of Hadleigh’s Joe Robbins, and has been part of the Shepherd Neame side’s squad for the past four years.

He joined the club in 2008 and made his debut against Colchester in the league cup and scored 24.
