No bid for Southend United's Bilel Mohsni
SOUTHEND United have rubbished reports linking Bilel Mohsni with a move to Blackpool.
The Seasiders, who had a £200,000 offer for the Frenchman rejected in January 2011, had reportedly tabled another bid for the versatile 24-year-old.
But a source close to the club insisted there had been no new offer made.
“Blackpool have not made an offer for Bilel,” said the source.
“We’re aware of the reports linking him to them again but there’s no truth in it at all.”
Mohsni has made 71 appearances during two seasons with Blues, scoring 18 goals.
His commitment has made him a firm fans favourite but he has also been involved in a number of bust ups both on and off the pitch during his time at Roots Hall.
