New injury setback for Southend United's long term crock Barry Corr

Barry Corr - picked up a groin problem
BARRY Corr has suffered a groin injury in training and is a doubt for Southend United’s tour of Spain.
The striker has not played since April 2011 because of a long-term knee problem.
And his return has now been delayed even further.
“The injury has put Barry back five days or so and we now have to decide whether or not to take him to Madrid,” said Blues boss Paul Sturrock.
“It’s a shame because he had been flying in training and was doing very well with the running.
“The problems came when he started to try to change speed, and he’s now suffered a slight twinge in his groin so we’ve had to take him out.
“But it certainly isn’t the end of the world if he doesn’t make the tour and we still feel he could be fit for the start of the season.”
