RYAN Hall will be bidding to gun down Oxford United again tonight, with another plea to focus on his football from Blues boss Paul Sturrock.

Hall has scored in his last four games against the U’s.

But Sturrock does not want him to become affected by the speculation surrounding his future.

“The microscope has been on Ryan and we have to get him focused on the games he’s playing in,” said Sturrock. “

There has been a lot of chit chat about him and I think that’s affected Ryan’s thought process.

“Is he now playing like he was last season? I don’t know but the only way it can get sorted is by someone making a bid with a Southend price tag or when the transfer window closes.

“No bids have been made for him though and we need him to be on form.”

Let's hope that no one comes in for David Martin until Hall and Sturrock sort themselves out.
Not taking on Brogan after what appeared to be a successful trial may turn out to be very swhort-sighted with Hall clearly unsettled.
I am becoming very concerned that the club seems to be drifting, with no one at the helm.
