FREDDY Eastwood is back on the bench for Southend United's clash at Gillingham tonight.

The 28-year-old striker has not figured in the league so far this season due to a calf strain but he has been named in the matchday squad this evening.

However, the starting line-up remains unchanged with Gavin Tomlin partnering Britt Assombalonga in attack against his former side.

Southend United: Smith, Clohessy, Phillips, Cresswell, Barker, Hurst, Timlin, Spicer, Martin, Assombalonga, Tomlin

Subs: Straker, Coughlan, Eastwood, Bentley, Benyon, Woodyard & Njie
